Bloghorns, or Blog, Horns! if you prefer, is a blog community of and for students, Texas Exes, faculty and staff of The University of Texas.

Noun, sg., short for Weblog.

"An online journal, typically consisting of a personal diary or social commentary."

Horns

Noun, pl., short for Longhorns.

"The term signifies members of The University of Texas at Austin community."

We welcome everyone to post blog entries to Bloghorns, so long as the content submitted is pertinent to The University of Texas.

Most blog systems available today (e.g. Movable Type, WordPress) offer the option to send a ping when a post is created. Check the documentation from your weblog software provider for more details.
